Ed Ruscha / Now Then at the MoMA

Ruscha has recorded and transformed familiar subjects—whether roadside gasoline stations or the 20th Century Fox logo—often revisiting motifs, sites, or words years later. Tracing shifts in the artist’s means and methods over time, ED RUSCHA / NOW THEN underscores the continuous reinvention that has defined his work.

 

Advancing creativity with artificial intelligence.

You don’t raise 141 Million from Google and Nvidia unless you’re doing something right. Runway develops artificial intelligence systems to usher in a new era for creativity where the best stories are yet to be told. Gen 2, Runway’s text to video tool is pretty incredible.

 

A new medium for presenting ideas.

The Gamma app gives users the flexibility to work outside the confines of traditional presentations, allowing them to package information in new ways. Gamma’s AI creates materials that target professional users, turning text prompts to full presentations in seconds.

 

Spiritualized on Tour

As of 2023, Spiritualized has released nine studio albums. The best known and most critically acclaimed is 1997’s Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space, which NME magazine named as their Album of the Year.

 

Objects, images and ideas for people, places and things

S.E.E. is the creative studio led by Eric Elms. For the last 20 years, Eric has collaborated with brands and creative individuals such as Colette, Adidas, Supreme, and Marc Jacobs to develop impactful images, identities, campaigns, and publications. The studio works across art direction, design, and consultancy to instill a thoughtful, innovative point of view into their clients’ projects.

 

Art Helps Heaps

Art Helps Heaps aims to make creativity accessible to everybody through a sustainable and long term approach to collaboration, and in the process do good and raise awareness of genetic disorders and rare diseases. 100% of net profits raised from the sale of Art Helps Heaps items will be donated to charities involved in the education, research and/or care of those living with a rare disease and/or genetic disorder.

Living by Design

Five years in the making, Pentagram: Living by Design (two volumes) is the definitive statement on 50 years of Pentagram. It is an in-depth survey of the group from its beginnings in 1970s London to its current status as one of the powerhouses of international design.

 

Godzilla Minus One

Godzilla Minus One is now live in Japan, and the movie’s opening has broken box office records overseas. Godzilla Minus One is a new kaiju movie made by Japan’s Toho Studios and set in post-war Japan. Per the movie’s official synopsis, “Japan’s economic state has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state.” Directed by Takashi Yamazaki, the film follows a former kamikaze pilot plagued by survivor’s guilt who ends up fighting against Godzilla with the crew of his mine removal ship.
