Dear friends,

This month’s Miscellaneous — Athletics’ no-frills round-up of the cultural items that inspire us each month — was curated by our good friend and collaborator Alex Gerodimos, Chief Operating Officer of Aimsun, the pioneering mobility simulation software company. Athletics had the pleasure of working with Gerodimos and his international team on the development of Aimsun’s new brand identity and digital experience, which you can explore further here.

Gerodimos provided this context to accompany his eclectic list of cultural to-dos for the tempestuous month ahead: “Days are shorter and darker. I have one foot in Europe and one in our beloved city. One foot in the past and hopefully still one in the present. Worried about where we are going but still have hope.”

Stay tuned for more editions of Miscellaneous in the coming months.

Poetic Fragment

“In time and measure perfect moves
All Art whose aim is sure;
Evolving rhyme and stars divine
Have rules, and they endure.”

— From “Dupont’s Round Flight” by Herman Melville, 1861
