The OCHA Field Information Management Strategy effort required the creation of a standard symbol set for all OCHA maps. The symbol set was made into a typeface and will be used in OCHA maps worldwide. The goal of the project was to create roughly 120 simple icons that clearly communicate subjects ranging from security, relief materials, general infrastructure and water and sanitation. |
